Just bought this off ebay about two weeks ago.
True american classic----Buck Brothers Skew---1 1/2 wide
Overall 28 inchs long
Never have to many tools

Should keep you far out of harms way in case of a catch. Speaking of a catch, the lathe would launch bofore that thing turned lose [B)]

I forgot to mention that I turn more than pens---LOL
But you could turn pens with just Clyde. You would not believe the detail you can get once you become friends with a skew.

Wow, you should be able to use it as a scraper and do 1/2 a pen at a time!
