This is the first time Ive posted something that has nothing to do with pens. I dont think Ive ever really had a reason to gloat here but this made my life time.
To anyone that knows me, they know I love the outdoors. Ive spent more than 30 years in the timber hunting with my dad. I was lucky enough to meet and marry a woman who shares that passion. This past weekend, the LOML and I spent two days together, deer hunting. She had all the action, seeing many deer, and was able to fill both of her tags by the second morning. I only seen one deer all weekend. As it turns out, he is the biggest deer I have ever encountered and it was over in about 30 seconds. lol Now I would have loved to seen him while bow hunting, but who could pass him up. Besides, work and family have kept me from the woods this year so I was happy to fill a tag and a freezer, and to have shared the moment with my wife.
This is my buck of a life time. He has 17 scoreable points (all 1" or more in length). There are 4 small points on the brow tines (all between 1.25 and 1.75 inches), a larger point on the right side sticking out to the side and a couple extra points on a couple longer tines. The inside spead is 18" and the main beams are 23" long. He's estimated to score around 160".
