I've had this one here and have been waiting to get it together but couldn't decide on what blank to use. Finally gave up and got out some curly Koa.
Outstanding results. Was the wood easy to work with?
Heck, just glue a real diamond in there with CA. :biggrin:That is another winner. That Koa is so pretty. If you want to try something new, pop out the crystal & turn an insert out of something else, or replace it with a colored crystal to add a different look. I've gotten colored crystals from Michael's. I even though about getting real semi-precious stones to put in. But I never did because of the expense.

I use epoxy for most things. I know that's what I used on my crystals. Thanks again, guys.

What adhesive are you using that you trust on the clip?

I should have mentioned that epoxy gives you time to get the crystal set just right without having to hurry like if you used CA.Thanks again, guys.

Good to know. I wasn't 100% sure if epoxy would work.
