Brian (Txbatons) alerted us to some juniper that was available so I grabbed some. I am always looking for free wood and had never turned juniper. I roughed out some bowls from the smaller peice and wrapped them up to dry. Juniper is bad to crack and sure enough, I got to practice filling cracks. I had never colored epoxy before so I gave it a try on the larger bowl. Yep, used too much and instead of blue, it looks black and sure bleeds. The smaller bowl got grabbed by my buffer and introduced to the wall and since they were only intended as practice, I just stopped there. I CA'd the crack from the wall strike and left it at that. My garage sure smelled nice while I was turning them. They are both about 7" in diameter.
