Hi this is the my first Jr Statesman I done a while ago now, made from Bethlehem Olive Wood and finished with friction polish. Next one I make will have a CA finish on, more hassle but far better result.
Comments welcome..

Very pretty Mark! You can see the difference between this finish and the Jr. Gent you posted earlier, but this still looks nice. The one "good" thing about FP on an oily wood is that it is close to what the pen will look like after it's been in use for a while.

BTW, the lyrics are MUCH better in this pic! [:D]

Really nice selection of blank. Personally, I think BOW is not real suitable for the "plastic" look of CA finish-this one looks more natural.

Another very nice looking pen. I really like the BOW, one of my favorites. I am going to try CA on one tonight, except I think my wood is spainish olive wood. Great Figure in your pen, great pic.
