I could see laminated corian making some interesting mug/shaving set combinations. You could round the standard 4x4 samples with a bandsaw, then core it out to a 1/2" thick ring. Layer up the rings and the solid core's the same way, glue, then cut the core stack into 4 wedges, or 2 sections just big enough for the razor handle and stand, and a brush handle. Hmmmm, going to have to do some measuring. Whats' the minimum diameter you can get a nice looking brush out of? Is it possible to cut a 3 inch circle into one piece that big and two more big enough to get the handles out of? Of course, if not, then you can always just get bigger pieces. Hmmm, of course you would not want a stack of random 1/2 inch color layers, so probably could get by with using the samples as accent layers if you happened to get ahold of a big piece of white or something close to use as a base color.
I dunno, just a thought.
