Roy,

These are fantastic. Classy design and the soaps are going to be awesome additions as well. Best of luck with this addition to your line up!!!

Very classy Roy, I've been asked for shaving Mugs, 1st thought about turning from wood and coating the inside with epoxy, your stand is cool.

Ken, the "mug" or container I'm using is ceramic and comes with the lid, just my thoughts that a wooden mug or container sitting on a wet sink would become a problem also I pour the hot soaps into the ceramic container to set .

Very nice offering Roy, I'm sure that you will do well with this newest 'offering' in your line up.

Aloe vera rather than 'vero', unless you purposely want the word 'vero' on your label.

Thanks Peter,I could lie and say it was the masculine way of spelling "vera" but it wasn't:redface:. Just went and change it and reprinted all the lables that I had applied....

Roy:
You can use the Ceramic "shave dish" and the stand as a positive to make your mold and match the razor, stand, and brush.

Let me know how these are recieved as we are doing something very similar this Spring.

No wood in my shave kits either! Wood gives me the "hebie jeebies" considering my unconditional lifetime warranty.

I could see laminated corian making some interesting mug/shaving set combinations. You could round the standard 4x4 samples with a bandsaw, then core it out to a 1/2" thick ring. Layer up the rings and the solid core's the same way, glue, then cut the core stack into 4 wedges, or 2 sections just big enough for the razor handle and stand, and a brush handle. Hmmmm, going to have to do some measuring. Whats' the minimum diameter you can get a nice looking brush out of? Is it possible to cut a 3 inch circle into one piece that big and two more big enough to get the handles out of? Of course, if not, then you can always just get bigger pieces. Hmmm, of course you would not want a stack of random 1/2 inch color layers, so probably could get by with using the samples as accent layers if you happened to get ahold of a big piece of white or something close to use as a base color.

I dunno, just a thought.
