Hello, all
I've been lurking around the forums for a few months now, admiring & reading about the work that you guys & gals do; figured it was time to formally introduce myself.
I'm Steven; a software engineer by trade but have been turning periodically for the last couple of years. I'm also a fountain pen collector with a relatively small collection (it's not an addiction yet), and I enjoy making pens probably more than anything else I've turned (lamps [also a former electrician], bowls, spindles for modular projects, etc). I haven't graduated to kitless, though I wish I had started there, but I'm working my way in that direction.
My wife & I live in Nebraska and we love checking out craft shows, so you'll more than likely see us within the next year if any of you folks are ever around the Eastern state border.
Pleasure to meet all of you. It's been great to find a group that shares the passion.
