Those look great Jason! I like the contrast in woods. As a traditional bow hunter, Ive wanted to start building recurves for many years and even went as far as getting the supplies for the press and heat box. I just cant seem to find the time to get any farther. lol

Pretty sweet Jason, I used to make the Fiberglass recurve also the last one I made was a few years ago. I would like to get back into making them but there arent enought hours in the day.

Is yours a take down?

Here is the last one I was working on and STILL havent finished Need to be tilled for balance and more carving on the grip.


Walnut and Purpleheart with Maple racing stripes. Pics are a few years old.

your is very nice too, and on my 55 one to reach more to 50 pounds with ash and maple, i had to cut my stripe thicker, that why i add 3 takedown screw to eliminate the delamination risk when you draw it.
