I tried this once before with mixed success, but it was good enough to try again.

I broke up about 8 ounces of plexiglass into small peices and then pulverized them with an old coffee grinder, then I covered the plexiglass with about 12 to 16 ounces of acetone. I have been shaking and stirring this concoction for about 4 or 5 days. It is now mixed and just thicker that refrigerated pancake syrup.

Is it thick enough, does it need to be thicker, is it too thick?

Also, I would welcome application techniques from anyone that uses this finish regularly.

Thanks

I have a bottle of plexi sitting over my lathe.. don't use it much any more.. never really had good success with it. Mine is about the texture(viscosity) of karo syrup... may need to thin it a little and try again.
