Just out of curiosity...how do you know they will float? It's been a long time since I did any actual fishing (and then I did better deadline or with bait and a bobber) but weight was always a factor in the action of a lure.

Don't really know if they will work or not. Had a lot of fun building them. Only spent $30 on enough parts to build 20 of them. Wood is from free hardwood flooring I had given to me. Lakes here in Canada are still frozen but I can hardly wait. Check out stripersonline.com for some guys who make awesome lures.
