Hi all,
I finally made the golden sample of my ebonite pen. This one has a triple start screw. It takes 3 turns to uncap the pen, I can have 2 but it's more nice visually, and pleasant to touch.
Waiting for the box and leather pen sleeve to make it available.
Regards

Your pen and holder are VERY nice. The shape is pleasing, and the finish is beyond my ability so far with ebonite. Would you care to share your polishing process? Thanks for sharing the photos.

The sanding and polishing it's not hard but it takes ages and a lot of patience.
You need to sand first starting with P220 and increase 220-400-600-800-1000-1500-2200-3000-5000 you can go up to 12000
The secret is to apply gently force and starting P800 both directions circular and lengthways, till you don't see any line.
In the end you will need a polishing wheel, I start with white paste and finish with orange paste. Don't clean the pen with a cloth after polishing, let it cool down for 10-15 min and gentle wash with soap and dry gently, I use paper.
I hope it helps

Very nice pen Teodor. I particularly like your crisp clean threads. :good::good::good:
I have been to Brno a few times. We have one of our factories there.

Yes this helps!! Thank you very much. I've not been using force. I will try your method, and expect to see improvement.
