First try at a cutting board

Took a class at woodzone. With the help of Chad and Karl we made cutting boards consisting of Yellowheart, Purpleheart, and Maple. Had alot of fun making this and will be planning on making more! (just when pen turning was hurting my wallet!) :biggrin: as always, any comments/questions appreciated

The cutting board is well done, but I find all that yellow a little off-putting.

But that's just me.

Nice Job!! Aren't those End-Grain cutting boards great?? Once you are finished, of course....

Might as well go all the way and make it a checkerboard so you can play with your food :tongue:

If you want to add some angles, a backgammon board could be fun, too.
