First natural edge bowl

This is my first try at turning a natural edge bowl. Walnut, approx 7.5 x 6" and 4" tall. The bark still has the lichens or moss on it. Finish is Mike Mahoney's walnut oil.

Thanks for all of the comments. I highly recommend trying one of these. I suggest watching a video or an actual person turn one of these before trying it. Mike Mahoney's video is great.

That's a beautiful bowl.... I like the natural edge bowls... my problem I can't keep the bark on... I've tried to do them several times and ol' spastic me, I knock the bark off one edge... great job you did.
