here's some pic's of a experiment gone wild.

maple burl..i home stabilized this piece.
i put orange first then backed it with blue...it came out orange an green...but if the light hit's it you have a tint of blue in area's..

a triple dyed call...go figure-lol

the call has no gloss finish yet,when it does it will make the figure just pop out of the call..

hope you like the pic's,the insert is from echo an i remodify the insert...just giving the credit to were it is due.:)

min-wax wood hardener/acrylic melted in acetone/an leather dye...
in a mason jar with a brake bleeder hand pump at 25hg just waited for it to sink then backed the other color.when i'm doing alittle larger blank's i use air pressure an then vac.

it's a echo insert,from big daddy rick dunn,
these insert's rock as they are...but i was alway's the black sheep an did thing's alittle different from the normal kid's in town.lol

i remodify the insert's,an do a little trick inside my barrel's.
but my hat's off to echo for making a great insert...an the man rick for provideing it for all of us to use.
