Can or should ebonite be wet sanded? All of the past posts and tutorials seem to suggest dry sanding, but for me wet sanding yields a superior finish if it can be used on a given material.

I'm also debating the merits of just a final polish versus Enduro - any advice? I'm just getting started on working with cumberland, green swirl, and blue swirl.

Thanks,
Chris

I'm sure you will find people who do it both ways as well as dry sand then buff. Best to sacrifice a small section and try it several ways to see what works best for you. There is no right answer.

I wouldn't add a finish on top of ebonite. Polish then let it be. The oils from your hand will add to the finish over time.

(Reminds me, I need to order some more... American Art has a good selection right now.)
