Dye's and Stabilizer's?

OK, I'm ready to start dyeing and stabilizing due to the availability of a great source of box elder and some beautiful cherry burls. I've looked through most of the site and tutorials and can't find what I need in the way of chemicals to use? What is everyone using out there and how? All help will be greatly appreciated.
