Duck call

This is the second call I've made. I patterned this one after a call in Greg Keat's and Ed Glenn's book. I'm not pleased with the way the one orbit lined up and the purpleheart 'electrons' are too big. Also a dark sap line showed up when I was turning it to shape. Polished with EEE and finished with Myland's FP. Oh yeah the wood is cherry with walnut orbits and purpleheart 'electrons'. The stopper is cocobolo and the guts are a woodduck/hawk from CSUSA. What do you all think?

Nice lookin' call!
Nice combination of Maple/Cocobolo.

I would be concerned about the friction polish, it does not like to get wet!

As you noted, it came out less than perfect. Might be a keeper for your own personal use. Otherwise, very innovative thinking.
