I spy a Drill bit I am not familiar with.

probably can find on Amazon.. then again, that can be a jungle lol. No starting point.

The brand name I think of for parabolic flute drill bits is Fisch - there are most likely others, that's the one I've seen at Woodcraft.
 
Fisch makes great high quality bits. That being said, I'm not a fan of their parabolic bits simply because of their length. They are very prone to wobble while drilling on the lathe.
 
The ones that zac uses are guhring and they are hard to find and expensive, I think the 27/64 one I have was 45 or 50$. I have a couple and honestly I'm not that impressed.
 
FWIW, I have two Fisch bits for drilling pen blanks. Never had a problem but I don't drill anything over five inches.
Caveat: They are in the same packaging. Don't pick up a 7mm and discover too late it was an 8mm.
