Got this blank from my mate George in South Aust. He was told it was a "Carob" tree, then some investigation proved it was definitely not that. Then some seed pods were produced which indicated that the tree was one of the "Kurrajongs", but the guys who cut the trees down told George that the pods came from one of the other trees. So it is still a mystery
Anyway, regardless of which species, the timber is very nice. The smaller bowl was cored out from the blank. The big bowl is 9.75in x 3.75in and the smaller one is 6.25in x 2.25in.
Comments welcome.
