Good evening folks! We made the call a couple months ago not to restock our retail side of Thermoset's CSD2078 simply because it didn't make a lot of sense for us to be selling it at margins that didn't allow for discounts, and it cost more to ship to us first then to you, etc. Instead, we worked with Thermoset to set us up with an affiliate account and most importantly a 10% discount for you guys to try their resin if you're so inclined.
I personally use the CSD2078 as an Alumilite Clear Slow replacement... It has 18 minutes of open time, gets good color separation as low as 85F, and resists yellowing MUCH MUCH better than the Alumilite product. If you've used our DiamondCast® blanks in the past 2-3 years, you've turned it before. We were using it long before we let the cat out of the bag for others to use.
That said, urethane isn't for everyone and there are a lot of times when you might want an epoxy: label casting, not fighting moisture, longer open times, etc. These guys have so many options there's bound to be something for you, and they're great about answering questions to make sure you get the right product. Best of all, unlike most epoxy places, everything is well documented so you'll always known exactly what you're getting.
