Hello,

I haven't done much penturning for the last couple months, and zero kitless/custom stuff for some reason. Well, a very good customer who wants custom almost exclusively asked me for these.

The blue clicker is from Conway Stewart Lapis and the yellow is from James @the_pensmiths, aka Racer on here. The clicker uses the schmidt click and a nose cone from Richard Greenwald. The yellow is a Pentel mechanism.

What happened to the yellow one ? Pic just disappeared as I was clicking on it to enlarge it.

Edit: Oh - there it's back again !!

Regarding pic #4 (the last blue) ... obviously still needs to be polished ... but does it also need to be cut to accept the clip insertion ?

Nice work, Lewis !!! ... I love the Lapis especially !!! Seems to me there is one entered in one of the S. E. contests just winding up.

In that pic, the piece is already cut, threaded and relieved to accept the clip, but after sanding it is very hard to see and feel the seam. If done correctly...

Here it is on the wood lathe today, right before that pic was taken, and after I cut the nose of it off. It was too long so i shortened it today.

You can see the small groove that allows the clip to pass through but it's difficult to see the seam.

Excellent work on both Lewis. The Lapis is very pretty.

I will stick to little twigs, but I do admire you kitless guys! Very nice.
