Couple more of my favorite things to make

I am hooked on these boxes and just learning them. Lots of sanding and choice words sometimes but they are a refreshing thing for me to make. I hope you all enjoy them.
The first is cherry with black walnut burl handles finished in 6 coats of Deft Spray.
The second is Curly Black Walnut Burl and Maple and is finished in 6 coats of spray poly. I like the deft spray alot better imho.

I use Olsen' sSkip Tooth 3/16" Blade going to try a different one for a little smoother cut but because of the thickenss I am worried about burning the wood.

Those are really nice. I have wanted to make some band saw boxes but I have so much other stuff going on I never seem to get it done.

I take breaks from pens and these and scrollsaw things are 2 of my favorite things. I like working with wood as a diversion from my real job of computers, at least with wood I can't fry a pc.
