I have looked at these blanks for a while and decided to give them a try. They are almost 4x the price of acrylic acetate blanks I usually buy, but there was that “Conway” cachet. With an expensive pen kit it just might work out. They turn very easily like acrylic acetate that I’ve turned thousands of times. They polish up instantly from 400 grit sanded blanks to a high shine on the buffing wheels. They have very bright and a least for me, unusual colors. Thanks Ed at Exotic Blanks for something different to try. If they sell, I’ll be back for more.
These imported Italian acrylic pen blanks were the same as used by the famous British pen manufacturer Conway Stewart in their pens. These blanks have an intense depth and are rich with color! They will polish to an amazing shine. It is a quality material that you can see and feel!
