I was asked to make a pen with the Elegant Cigar kit from EB. The customer wanted a gold nib and wanted 'burl wood'. I chose locally harvested cherry burl.
Now let's hope he likes it.

Cherry burl is hard to beat, and your finish look exceptional.

I also really like the transmission in these specific kits - I have some 6 yrs old and still smooth.

Magnificent Pen, Dennis.
Glorious Cherry Burl, Blank.
Beautifully Turned, Fitted and Outstandingly Finished. :highfive:

But there is something that I cannot reconcile, you said "The customer wanted a gold nib and wanted 'burl wood'."
If I am Not Mistaken, that pen is a Ball Point, and I cannot see any "Nib or Gold".
You must be a Terrific Salesman if you changed the Customers Specifications that much.
Regards, and Good Luck.
