Colored Pencil Pens - First Time Casting

These two pens are my first time placing some object in a blank and casting it. These are the sharpened ends of colored pencils cast in resin.

After casting, I drilled the blank and painted the inside of the blank and outside of the tube red. I then VERY CAREFULLY turned the pen. Finally, I covered it with Mercury CA.

Very cool! I like how the colored pencils are in the blank at random instead of lined up.

Those are great, especially for a first attempt at casting. I too think the randomness of the pencils gives an overall better look than when they're lined up.
