color for blanks

A little advice please. Without going to the expense of buying the paint and then wasting the PR.
Can you use artist acrylic paints to color the PR when making pen blanks. I thought that maybe the paint would not dry inside the PR.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've been using the artist acrylic paints available at Michael's to color my blanks. Then I use mica powders to add a bit of character and opaqueness. The paints work just fine. I also use the same paint to color the inside of the blank before gluing the tube in.

I agree, they will work, but I have found that they can slow down the cure some times.
