In a recent post someone mentioned the collets that were available on ebay. Does anyone have link for a vendor that sells a good set of these collets.

Also, what size collet is needed for the B mandrel.

Thanks

800Watt on Ebay sells them at a great price. They are listed as ER32 collets. Just do NOT expect fast shipment and do NOT expect any return emails from this person. But you WILL get them and you'll be happy with them

What he said. Good price, good product. Absolutely no communication from seller. Some got quick shipping, some of us took about 2-3 weeks. But I don't know anyone who hasn't gotten their product

Ditto about 800watt and the quality of the product. I was a little surprised when my order showed up in about a week. Guess it depends on whether they are in stock or on back order. I did send an email on a different issue and never go a reply.

There several places that you can buy individual collets for $10-$15. The eBay product is a set of 11 for $49. A good; but if money is tight and you don't need all of the collets, buying a single one may be better.

This won't help those who already have purchased the Beall set; but, for those contemplating a purchase, the best way to do it is buy the chuck from Charles Martin @ www.woodchipshome.com and the collet set from eBay(80watt)

Thanks for the tip guys, I got the collet set from 800watt on ebay. Received them 6 days after the auction ended. Great set for the price ($49.99 plus shipping). Now I'm just waiting on the collet chuck from Charles to arrive.

They look good to me, haven't used them yet, waiting on the collet chuck to show up. Should have some feedback soon, but many members of the board say they are just as good as collets purchased elsewhere.
