Has anyone had good luck with any pencil kits, even the inserts from Richard Greenwald?

I'm back making pens after a layoff of about 6 years. Any opinions will be welcomed.

The pencil kits I make are the Berea El Grande and the Berea Perfect Fit. I like those very much. These use the Schmidt 2006 pencil mechanisms I believe. I believe that mechanism will work in other kits also, but not all.

Somebody recently reported here that they successfully modified a pencil insert to work in a Lever Action.

Sierra or any pencil kit. Depends what you want to do with it. This one's from PSI and I made it a one piece. The lead is a .07 B. I like the darker leads. So look at them all and have fun, they're all pretty good.

You can make a Dayacom Clicker (or Long click) pen and convert it to a click pencil kit by shortening the barrel by +/-1.5mm (0.06"). You then fit a Schmidt DSM 2007 pencil mechanism with the (Parker) spring and you have a fine click pencil.
You can find the Clicker pen:

* Long Click Ballpoint Pen Kit

As for the Schmidt DSM 2007 mechanism:
