Lately John and Anthony has been posting some beautiful solid body pens and I had to try one. This is a chrome baron on some osage orange.You can't tell much about the wood because the picture is so pixelated(is that the word?).

HEY! [:0] You made my pen. [:p][;)][:)] I've been using osage orange to attempt my closed end Baron. Tried drilling on the lathe. When the (80% turned) blank started to heat excessively, I pulled out the bit and let all cool. Afterwards, the bit would not go back in. Beginning of problems..[:(] It can bd done. Thanks for the encouragement. I have a hunk of OO suntanning to test color change. Will report on that later. In person OO looks much better than the photo captures.
