Captive Spring

After noticing that some models come with a captive spring, I started adding a dab of epoxy into the bottom of the pen to hold the spring from falling out when changing the refill.

Does anyone else glue the spring in?
 
It is a good idea, but it has one disadvantage:

If you want to convert the pen to a fountain pen, the spring should be removed or it can interfere with a converter, causing the pen to leak.

Just a word of warning!!

This is very true! Also, Diamine Writer's Blood ink will make it look like a crime scene. DAMHIK
