Can a Venus Rollerball kit be converted to Fountian?

I want to make a my wife a Venus fountain pen but so far I can only find the roller ball kits..

Can I get a conversion tip or maybe get a Jr Gent II fountain in the same plating and swap tips?

OH FYI. remove the spring on the back of the body, if you dont you will get an ink dump all over your hands when you unscrew it. Ask me how I know

Yes it is. Just remove the spring at the base of the rollerball cartridge.

OK I tried this this weekend with a Jr Statesman FP nib and the threads are not compatible.. The statesman has a fine thread the the Venus is a coarse thread.

Does the Jr Gent have a different nib thread pitch than the Statesman?

I can just swap the press in ends but I got a Black Ti kit by mistake and the statesman kit I have is rhodium.. My wife likes the black Ti finish so now I need to order a Black Ti Jr Gent FP kit to get the right mix.
