Cambridge FP in Buckey Burl

This pen was a second try. The first try resulted in a big blowout on the tube. I am now turning that into a segmented pen with Buckeye, Cocobolo & Aluminum. The second time turned beautifully. All my finishes are about the same. Four coats thin CA, six coats med & two coats thick and then sand through 12,000 MM, polish on buffing wheel, then One Step and McGuire's wax.

Nice pen - way to hang in there.

I'm currently working on a pen that I am now turning the fifth barrel for. Sometimes they don't come easy.
