I have not but you could make your own label and seal it in CA using decal paper. Here is the website I get decal paper from and there are videos on YouTube that show you how. http://www.decalpaper.com/
Yeah, thats what I've been researching thinking I'll try. I have a client requesting 2 dozen with butterflies & I think the lazer kits will be "sticker Shock" for them!
I've not seen such a thing . However, I have used a decal ...www.lazertran.com. I've used this in two ways first on a turned wooden blank then finnished in ployurethane lacquer worked fine mine was a portrait photograph. Second was by painting a tube with acrylic then applying the decal to the painted tube prior to it being caste in resin this is work in progressso not yet sure how successful it will be
These are just a few that have been done with stickers. Hobby Lobby out here has a good selection of butterfly stickers. Buy the ones on the softer clear plastic with the clear border. Turn your pens so the barrel doesn't have any bulge in it. Apply 3 or 4 layers of thin CA. This will prevent a light colored halo around the sticker. Then, get coats of medium on over the top of the sticker. This will be tricky as your paper towel or whatever you use will try to grab the edges and ruin it. Get a good many coats on and then you can sand it and polish. I usually have a little raised surface over the sticker, but it's not too offensive. Some of the really thin stickers and dry transfers can easily solve that.
