A little something I'd been working on for the past week or so. I had a lovely sheet of bronze come in, so I decided to make an overlay from it, and Of course needed a pen to put the overlay on. I made the pen from chocolate bronze lucite, with an ink reservoir made from Ultem, since it has a nice transparent yellow/amber color to complement the bronze. As mentioned, the overlay started out as a sheet, which I rolled up, soldered, and stuck on the mill to make the cutouts. The clip is made from bronze sheet, with a thicker square end to mimic the cutouts in the overlay. The pen is cut for a jowo 6 nib, and fills via piston mechanism. Barrel diameter is about 13mm.
