Here is a bangle I finished today using a pilot run of brass bangle cores and African Blackwood. I was inspired by a friend who requested a Blackwood core for stainless steel and I thought of going for the 'India' look. Since Gold is way out of the question, brass seemed like the next best thing. This is a woman's size 8 mid-width, with almost no crown (flat face).

Thanks for looking,

Eric

I love your work and products and I intend to order soon. I have a question about the brass. I know that brass discolors quickly, especially from hand oils. Are your brass bangles coated with anything to keep them shiny?

The Brass actually holds up much better than copper to the environment but will need polishing from time to time. I use Ren Wax when I make the bangles to keep them from oxidizing which seems to really help.
