I need to set up some pneumatic clamps for a jig I use. I just bought 2 Destaco 812 clamps (http://www.destaco.com/assets/docs/en/ds/812.pdf) and now need to hook them up. I am very familiar with regular air hose stuff but know nothing about this type of application. I need some help!
The clamps have M5 female fittings and are double action cylinders. I need some way to activate and de-activate them. I want something simple such as a toggle switch valve. I also need the fittings to hook up the hose to the clamps and the valve/switch.
Any recommendation on what I should use would be appreciated.
Also, is it ok to run the hose from each clamp to a tee and then have one hose to the valve to reduce clutter? I know the hose used is really small so will it have enough volume of air or do I have to run dedicated lines from the valve?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have searched the internet on how to set up a pneumatic clamp system and find NOTHING so I thought I would turn here!
Thanks in advance!
