Any Pipe makers?

I know I start several question threads like this...but I figure the only stupid question is one not asked...right?

Anyway - I have several of the pipe bowls to use a pen blanks purchased from another member of this board; I have been thinking of using one of the bowls to make a pipe.

What is needed to make a pipe? Any suggestions?

Try this link and buy his book. This is the best pipemaking book I have found. He also sells tools, & supplies. http://www.pimopipecraft.com/
www.pipemakers.org also sells supplies and is a good source. It is mostly all hand work. I use a fordom type rotarty tool and alot of hand carving and sanding. I average about 9 hours per pipe. Try it, you'll like it.
