Just made this today and I think I'm going to take it to shows as is. I'm sure it'll go over most people's heads but it's impressive and massive. You have to set yourself apart from others, I do that with segmenting. Other pen makers I have seen at shows are just plain wood, nice, but not much of a wow factor. These blanks also help greatly in explaining what segmented, in the pen world, means. If it's a waste of time, worse case scenario, I can make them into pens.

You should make two of those and then turn one. That would be a greater impact of, "this is how it started, this is the end product"
I have one turned, I've sold all the others I made.
