I made this hollow form a few weeks ago. A VERY good childhood friend picked it for the remains of his mom. The service is tomorrow and it was a honor to make the container for her remains. The finial is walnut and it has a General finish Wood Turners Finish on it. It stands 11"tall and is 9"wide. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome. Russell

Russell, I LOVE ambrosia maple. And this is an exceptional piece! Great work. Sorry for the cause, but what a wonderful memory and tribute. That said, I am guessing you filled the holes?
