If you use "weatherproof" labels from OnlineLabels.com you'll never need to paint the tubes or use CA. They are self adhesive vinyl with no sealer needed. Just print, stick, and cast.

I you use OnlineLabels.com 8.5" x 11" Weatherproof Printable Sticker Paper Labels and no need to paint the brass tubes.
I wipe the seam with some Thin CA applied using a small piece of furniture foam.
