Here are some conducting baton handles I turned recently using blanks from the recent acrylic group buy that Steve did.

They turn and finish great! They have been very popular and I have a difficult time keeping them in stock.

I look forward to the next acrylic group buy! hint hint ;)

Thanks all.

Andrew, I make the shafts using birch dowel rods that I hand plane and taper, then paint (glossy white) or finish naturally. I've been having a booger of a time, though, perfecting the glossy painting of the shafts (they're about 12" long and taper from 3/16" on the large end to a fine point at the end).

Wow! I'm really impressed - and new to this forum. I peeked on your website and have a few people in mind. What a wonderful use of your talent!

Simply beautiful!
