All Wall Street II kits. Gold one is Manzanita. Not sure on the other two. Picked up a box of 100 blanks from WoodCraft and not good with being able to identify different species yet.

I lightened your pic slightly so the wood showed better.....hope you don't mind.
I think your pens are looking very nice! Keep up the good work!

I like the shape of the second one. I think the Sierra/Wall street style look better when the body follows the line of the front section giving it a bit more width.

When I first started I bought the extra tubes for the WSII and used one kit to go through the pen making process 8-10 times. This kept my costs down while learning those crappy lessons, cracking a blank during drilling, blow outs on the lathe, fit/finish issues. Then disassemble the pen and repeat.

When I ran out of those 5 tubes I turned a few of the bad ones down to the brass and started over. I spent about $12 and went through the process 8-10 times. The pen kit didn't survive unscathed, but still writes and is sitting on my workbench.

Looking good there!
How did you finish these?

Thanks!

All are finished with CA. 4-6 coats thin, sanded with 1500 mm then 4 coats of med CA and wet sanded with MM thru 12000. These are also my sixth, seventh, and eighth pens since deciding to pick up turning pens as a hobby.
