Thanks. I cheated in making the 8, so it was actually pretty easy. I have a set of puches with letters and numbers, so I chucked the 8 in my tailstock and pressed it into the holly. Wiped some ABW dust into the depression followed by CA. The holly was sealed with CA before wiping with ABW dust to prevent bleeding.
