2 new Red Mallee turnings

Here are two recent turnings of Austrailian Red Mallee Burls. One is a bowl and the other is a plate of sorts( I did not have too much to work with on the plate).

Yep, I also think that this wood is simply amazing stuff. One never knows what is hidden inside till the turning gets well under way. The finish often brings forth some amazing sights as well.
