That's about the best name I could come up with on short notice.
This is one of the largest items I have turned---it would hold about 2 gallons of water if the dang Woodpecker hadn't been beating holes in it. It is trying to air dry before it gets any more finish work done. I am going to do a soft Danish oil--- then buff it out.
Oh the wood is some more of that old Sycamore.
Hope you like---Thanks

I have one more really big block left---Later in the week I plan on spending a day with it---I will post a pic of it before I start so you folks can see how big it starts out.

Bruce---out of all the hundreds of birds that hang out around here---we have a couple of sets of Red Headed woodpeckers that share this space with us. They are by far the funniest---loudest----most entertaining animals we see.
I could spend the day watching them---sometimes I sit out on the back porch and eat lunch just so I can enjoy watching them.

I used to live in a cedar sided house, and was awakened many a morning by them looking for snacks. They were probably only pint size though. Maybe quart size.
