Here is my 2nd pen making attempt. It is pretty similar to the first one but I used purple ebonite and I made it a bit longer. I think it is really too long though. I'm considering shortening it, but I'm worried that I'll botch it up trying and I don't have enough purple ebonite to make a new barrel. I made it a little more slender, which I think looks good. Now I'm working on making one out of the "Conway Colors" cerulean blue and black ebonite. I am planning on making it the same as the first 2, but I want to try having multiple bands on the cap.

This is a very Elegant Pen. Nice Work.

Thanks. The extra length does make it feel more slender and elegant. It just isn't good if you want to pocket it or post the cap, then it is awkward.

Speaking of elegant: I showed it to some guys at work and one of them was like "oh, so you could like print someone's name on it right?"

Ummm... no? LOL

"Jewellers and sports trophy companies might be able to engrave a name on it for you, but I do not have the equipment to do that. Once you've bought it, you can do anything you want to it."

While I agree that it is a bit longer than some prefer, it is very classy and I love the profile and dimensions of the sections. Very nice! 👏 👏 👏 Thanks for sharing.
