Celtic Knot

I tried my first Celtic knot today after making a 45 degree jig. I think it turned out OK. Bloodwood and white ash in a Manhattan. Only turning for about 3 months so I'll take that.

You could try different angles of jig to stretch or shorten the length of the knot .

Thanks guys. I might make a 30 and 60 degree jig just to see what happens. Man, I sure love this pen turning. Wish I'd have found it 20 years ago!!

60° will work fine. 30° will just be unrecognizable blob.
