New experiment!
The top is a 308 caliber casing and the bottom is a 30-06 casing, it's a really nice twist pen.

nice looking pen. Single "brass Casing" pens seem to be more popular but the doubles do show up here every now and then. Yours is nice and 308 seems to be a favorite of these. Here's another thread on them with others posted in the comments with some explanation…

What components did you use? Creative pen.
308 caliber for the top and a 30-06 for the bottom, the total length is around 5 1/2".

The pen kit is a PSI Slimline, I drilled the primer end out to 7mm. I used a longer 7mm tube for the 30-06 casing and pushed to pen transmission in a little farther, the pen looks great and operates really smoothly.
