Since the are subject to water, what finish do you use?

All my wood turned items have the same finish. I apply four coats of the in (5 cps) CA, spray lightly, apply a coat of thin (50 cps) CA, spray and repeat 11-15 times spraying lightly after each coat. I finish the end of the razor handle to keep water from entering where the hardware attaches. In a shaving environment where it gets wet, but is not left in water; it will last indefinitely. I know; I use one regularly.
